Built by people who ride out the storms too
SYR Construction started in a Naples garage in 2009, after one season of boarding up our own parents' houses with plywood. There had to be a better way — so we became it.
Sixteen years later we're still family-run, still measuring every opening ourselves, and still installing with our own factory-trained crews — never day labor, never subcontractors. We handle engineering, permits and inspections end-to-end, and we answer the phone after the sale.
Every product we sell is tested past Florida's toughest standard — the Miami-Dade high-velocity hurricane zone — because that's the only bar that matters when the Gulf decides to test your address.

Most openings run between $900 and $1,800 installed, depending on size, frame material and floor height. A typical 3-bed home lands between $18k–$35k all-in — engineering, permits and installation included. We price per opening, in writing, at the free estimate.
In most cases, yes — meaningfully. Florida insurers give wind-mitigation credits for fully protected openings, and our customers typically see 20–40% off the windstorm portion of their premium. We hand you the inspection documentation your insurer needs at closeout.

Manufacturing and permitting run 4–8 weeks after the contract, depending on county and product line. The installation itself takes 2–4 days for most homes. We give you a written schedule up front and a crew lead's direct number during the job.
